BAIRRO EM FESTA 2023 · Photo coverage

It was a short passage, but very significant. The last 4 editions of Bairro em Festa had the main venue in a former GNR Quartel located in another square very close to Intendente: Cabeço de Bola square. During this time, the wonderful team from the Largo Residências cooperative transformed a deactivated barracks into the “most beautiful quartel in the city”.

This year, in addition to the particularity of being the last in the quartel, was important because it was one of the sources of consolation for my bereaved state. It did me good, how good it was!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the affection I received from the Largo family, an important part of my journey.

In the featured photo is a recording of the portentous show “São Jorge Batido” by Jonas, which together with the performance “Ela amou para caralho” by Manas, returned to Largo do Intendente the hot nights of this party that has been in existence for almost a decade.
However, the song that stays in my memory associated with this edition is “Bom Bom” by Batida with Mayra Andrade, which played during breaks in activities at the barracks:
